It seems the smallmouth bass have finished spawning at most of our outpost lakes. Lakes are slowly warming up. Walleye have been reasonably active during later evenings and early mornings when its not so hot and still. Bears are out!
The black bears have been out of hibernation for about two weeks now. We have been around to all the sites and have cleaned up blown down trees and brush. We’ve seen a few bears around already. It should be a good season for the black bear hunts. Continue Reading
