We just had a group come out of Unexpected and they slammed the smallmouth bass with topwater on one of the windblown bays. They said the bass were hitting non-stop. Walleyes were grouped around the islands on the lake and in some shallower water than usual. We didn’t expect them shallow because of the storm fronts that have been going through the last week or so.
